Nursery

(Of course I didn't think to take a picture before church...when his hair still looked good.)

Today was first day of Nursery for Christian. A joyous occasion for all! He didn't cry until it was time to leave. He took one look at the toys and ran inside and never looked back. Two hours later when we picked him up he was still happy as could be. I hope it goes this well next week.

Mr. Potato Head

Christian and I decided to play with Mr. Potato Head instead of cleaning the house. Here is what Christian did all by himself. He's so creative. On a side note...When asked to pick up the eyes, or nose, or arm, etc. he chose the right part. That made me happy. See..it was educational too. I'm such a good mom. :o)

Sunglasses

Christian borrowed his Aunt Maren's sunglasses for a quick photoshoot. Isn't he so handsome?

Telephone

Thursday night I called Dave to see when he would be home and Christian snatched the phone out of my hands and decided to talk to his Daddy. Christian had a lot to say, but he also let Dave talk on occasion. He was very upset with me when he had to get off the phone so I could give him a bath. (He had a blowout diaper while all of this was going on.) But he was quickly distracted by the water and was happy again. I think this might be a sign of what is to come during the teenage years (minus the blowout diaper, I hope).

Nothing In Particular

I've been lazy about keeping this blog up to date. We've been keeping busy with day-to-day activities, but have done very little that is worthy of public mention. We've been sick here for the first time in a long time. I have been very lucky that Christian is usually healthy. Hopefully he inherited his Daddy's good genes. The poor kid would have never gotten sick if it wasn't for me. OOPS!

Can I just say...Check out that hair. I don't care what I do...it just sticks out everywhere. What can I say? He inherited his daddy's hair.

Christian has figured out how to use the camera. I found a bazillion photos of his foot and the carpet on the camera. Yay for 2gb memory cards.

Christian's Nana came to visit for just a few minutes last weekend. What a rare treat! We miss her so much!
They had SO much fun together! There was 3 months of kisses to catch up on. I'm just glad he warmed up to her. Have no fear...he remembered.
(I was unnecessarily worried.)

Christian's Great Uncle, Bill Putnam, unexpectedly passed away last week. I was unable to go, but Dave and Christian were able to attend the funeral on Tuesday morning in Greeley, CO.

So, that's it. Now we just wait for next week when Aunt Maren comes!
